We're at just about a month now with our little Quinny. This past week has been hard for me. Mornings better than the afternoons, but inevitably, it seems, I flag.
While, overall, Pan has really done splendidly with this huge change in our family, there have been many many rounds of crying babies in these past days. You know, where Pan cries and I set Quinn down to comfort him and then Quinn starts crying and I set Pan down to pick up the babe and then Pan starts crying again and so forth. I've started doing automatic double diaper duty -- if one needs a changing, the other gets one too. It makes me feel a little less like I spend all my time changing dirty diapers. BUT.
But!
I have a little treat for you.
A couple of months ago, I lucked into a sweet little opportunity. Being the busy mamas we are, this interview got held up by one thing and another, but here we are!
So, come by tomorrow morning for some (always inspiring) words from Meg McElwee in a continued celebration of her book, Sew Liberated: 20 stylish projects for the modern sewist.
See you then,
+Chelsea
PS: That is a photo of Quinn in a kicking sack my friend and super-talented fiber artist designed and made for him.
