Saint Nicholas paid us a visit and left some very sweet treats. A satsuma and a bit of chocolate in each of our shoes and a book tucked underneath. He also brought a little tree for the boys' nature shelf, all decked with creatures that fly by wing.
Pan was so happy to unwrap all the packages for us -- and to immediately hand them over to whomever they were meant for. It was sweet to see his excitement for the simple joy of unwrapping.
I made the boys each a pair of socks with scraps leftover from Pan's blanket. However, at 11:30 PM on the fifth, I accepted that I would not be able to finish Quinny's second sock for the morning, so there was only one sock in his package. Pan was very concerned about this.
Clearly his concern didn't last for long.

PS: We had the same idea, five hours apart.
Him at 7 AM.
