Their Martinmas Smocks, knit over the summer with an eye towards growing boys and a very busy fall. They fit quite loose, especially in the shoulders, but the details are so very sweet.
Vests are just about my favorite handknit item for little ones. So practical, providing layered warmth for a variety of weathers.
The pattern is fairly feminine, but I omitted the picot cast-on and the wool is tweedy enough to work, I think.
It's nice to remember that I used to knit. Summer is just a few short months away...
